Return and Refund Policy

1. Two Distinct Schemes

The Customer benefits, on the one hand, from the 14-day legal right of withdrawal and, on the other hand, from the legal guarantees of conformity and hidden defects.

These rights are distinct and can apply independently of each other.

This policy summarizes the main applicable terms. Additional information is available in our General Terms and Conditions of Sale and on our Right of Withdrawal page.

2. Right of Withdrawal – 14 Days

The Customer has a period of 14 days from the receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify their decision and without penalty, subject to the exceptions provided for by applicable law.

When several products from the same order are delivered separately, the period runs from the receipt of the last product.

3. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

To exercise this right, the Customer must inform Nalamy of their decision by means of a clear and unambiguous statement, particularly by email or mail.

To facilitate the processing of the request, it is recommended to indicate:

• the Customer's name;
• the order number;
• the product(s) concerned.

The Customer can also use the withdrawal form provided on the website.

To comply with the legal deadline, it is sufficient that the withdrawal request is sent before the expiration of the 14-day period.

4. Return of the Microscope and its Accessories

After communicating their decision to withdraw, the Customer must return the Nalamy microscope and all related accessories to the return address that will be communicated to them.

The return must be made without undue delay and, at the latest, within 14 days following the communication of the decision to withdraw.

The direct costs of return are borne by the Customer, unless otherwise indicated in writing by Nalamy.

5. Condition of the Returned Product

The Customer may handle and examine the microscope to the extent necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and proper functioning, as they might reasonably do before an in-store purchase.

The microscope must be returned, as far as possible, complete with its accessories and supplied elements.

The Customer may be held responsible for any depreciation of the product resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and proper functioning.

The absence of the original packaging does not, in itself, deprive the Customer of their legal right of withdrawal.

6. Refund

In the event of a validly exercised withdrawal, Nalamy will refund the sums concerned in accordance with applicable legislation, including initial standard delivery costs when these must legally be refunded.

The refund will be made no later than 14 days from the date on which Nalamy is informed of the decision to withdraw.

Nalamy may, however, defer the refund until the product is recovered or until the Customer provides proof of its shipment, the date retained being the earlier of these events.

The refund is made using the same payment method as that used for the order, unless the Customer expressly agrees to the use of another method and provided that this does not incur additional costs.

7. Defective or Non-Conforming Product

Regardless of the right of withdrawal, the Customer benefits from the applicable legal guarantees when a microscope or accessory received is defective, does not conform to the order, or has a hidden defect.

These guarantees are exercised in accordance with applicable legal provisions and cannot be removed or limited by this policy.

In the event of a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, the Customer is invited to contact Nalamy so that their request can be examined and a solution in accordance with their rights can be proposed.
